The Treasury Department handles the day-to-day financial affairs of the Arizona Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, The Arizona Conference Corporation of Seventh-day Adventists and the Arizona Adventist Scholarship, Inc.

Understanding that donated funds are a sacred trust, the Treasury Department is committed to fulfilling its duties with optimum efficiency and fiscal accountability.  To promote integrity and responsibility, professional accounting procedures are carefully followed and reviewed at regular intervals.

D. Kent Sharpe, conference treasurer, brings to Arizona specialized training as a certified public accountant with a masters in corporate finance.  He has previously served in Arkansas-Louisiana Conference (treasurer), Adventist Risk Management (controller),  Mount Vernon Academy (business manager), Ohio Conference (associate treasurer/auditor), and Home Study International (business manager).  Kent is married to Lisa Sharpe; they have two children, Allyssa (17) and Zachary (14).
